Decision-Making Process for Tourism Potential Segmentation

The tourism industry is one of the critical sectors driving regional economic development, creating jobs, and preserving cultural natural heritage. Rembang Regency Government trying to design a strategy increase various potentials that support industry. Stakeholders cannot optimally manage in because system facilities still need be improved. Potential segmentation based on facility systems (SSF) can assist government carrying out strategies potential main objective this research stakeholders decision-making process generate policy advice through tourist mapping results, reducing large-scale problems scale understood acted upon successful marketing. Methods data collection using literature study observation with accidental sampling determine as many 20 tours. K-Means method was chosen classify Regency, Central Java, Indonesia. results showed three clusters Support System Facilities covering telecommunication, power source, transportation, waste management, location, clean water supporting industry, spatial, hospitality, safety, security. used designing by improve Increasing each cluster has its advantages disadvantages.
